Faye Wong of Hong Kong sold an estimated 9.7 million copies of her 20 albums by March 2000 and is one of the first women to dominate Hong Kong's recording industry. Her album Lovers & Strangers, released in September 1999, has sold over 800,000 copies so far and reached No.1 in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia. Her first CD, Shirley Wong (her then stage name) was released in 1989 and two more followed over the next 12 months. She has gone on to record over 15 more albums.


El canto del loco is a music pop rock band for teenagers that was born in Madrid en 1994, because Dani Martin (the singer) and Iván met themselves. They were doing theatre and they loved Radio Futura, the name of the group was invented by the name of one of their songs"El canto del gallo". Because of that they decided to call“El canto del loco”.

After that, David who is Dani’s cousin started in the group, later they met Jandro(battery) and lastest Chema(bassist) joined to the group. They were 5.

Their first CD was "El canto del Loco" (2000).

Their second CD was "A contracorriente"(2002) with songs like "A contracorriente" and "Son sueños".

In 2003 they release their third album called "Estados de ánimo" with songs like "Volver adisfrutar ", "La madre del José”, “ Insoportable” and “ Ya nada volverá a ser como antes”.

In January 2004 they rec 7 vidas principal song.

In May 2005 they made a kuarkx project for earn money for the tsunami's victims in Sri Lanka, with the song “Despiértame”.

In June 2005 they publish their fourth CD called "Zapatillas" with songs like: “Zapatillas”, “Besos”, “Vuelve”, “Volverá”.

In July 2006 they realase an album called "Pequeños grandes directos" which were rec in Sala Caracol(Madrid), Sala Bikini (Barcelona), Sala Oasis(Zaragoza).

In 2008 they realase their fifth album”Personas” with songs like “Eres tonto”, and “Peter pan”“La suerte de mi vida”. With this CD they were first number in the Spanish top music .

Actually there are only three members in the group, Dani, David and Chema.

In 2009 they publish “Radio la colifata” with old songs that were a big success. The videoclips were made in a psychiatric in Argentina.

Other CD that they publish this year was “ Por mi y por todos mis compañeros” where they sing songs like “Maria la portuguesa”(Carlos Cano) and “Se acabó” ( Maria Jiménez).

In 2010 they are having a relaxed year.

During these 10 years this group has been quite successful and the support of their fans.

They had filled halls, theaters, football field, bullrings ,auditoriums....

With their music they have ritch the success and the have sold a lot of CDs.

They are greatest, always are alert with their fans, they love sing and the fans love hear them.Dani is an earthquake energy on stage, everytime he’s moving and jumping. He’s single,special.

They are in Spain the most concert have offered. Simply because of that they can´t be described with only one word, we can call them by their name...EL CANTO DEL LOCO!!
