But isnt the school supposed to be near town square? Why is Doc wondering where Marty is if he's just around the corner? And wouldnt anyone at the school notice Doc hanging on the clock tower and the DeLorean racing down the street?

Weird that I've never thought about these things before, but these were thoughts that were entering my head as I was watching the movie on DVD tonight.
